My Topic dezare'

I think we should talk about celebrities, and their lives. What's new with the celebs. What's up with the 911. Like Justin Bieber was accused of being the father of a girl's baby, but she just said that to get child support money. See, I don't about that maybe the lady was really crazy. Do you know? WOW! Did you here about the two little girls that LOVE Nicki Minaj so much, they song Super Bass and put it on YouTube. They looked amazing. Then they were on Ellen, the best talk show ever. (Well in my eyes.) I think Ellen is the most sweetest person ever. She got the two girls on her show and Nicki Minaj to be her special guest. You see how much fun it is.

Censorship By Neaje

                                                            Censorship

Censorship is when things are blocked to block bad things. It affects humanity because it corrupts children and adults minds. The federal communication commission (FCC) controls censorship by making every thing Parental Guidance (PG). Things are censored because they don’t let children listen or watch anything not for their age. Things are uncensored because people have freedom entertainment.
My topic is both censored and uncensored because I want to express my feelings on both sides of the argument. The thing is that people have different opinions about this topic. I can relate to both arguments because censorship is not always taken seriously because we freedom have this world to do whatever we want. What I mean is that we have the right to do whatever we want but if it’s inappropriate the “FCC” covers that.
My position is pro and con. I have mix thoughts about censorship because I am not sure what side I would like to be on. Children are watching/hearing bad things so, they do something called “monkey see monkey do”. What I mean by that is kids see shows where there stealing, kissing etc. they are going to probably want to do too. When they here rapping with cursing they may want to too. But some stuff is not for kids to see so they put that show on at late at night when children should be sleep. It is also something called parental controls, it helps to block things for not be seen by children eyes. My arguments both support my essay because censorship should and should not be censored.
The opposing view believes that censorship should and should not be censored. One believes that it should be uncensored because of freedom of entertainment. One believes that it should be censored because corruptions of the minds.
I believe that it should be both because you can block a lot of things .You can watch things that is not (PG) when your children are not around. Also, I believe that because everyone does not think like each other.
I believe we should do both because we are free to do whatever we want and we should be able to have corrupting things gone too.

                                                    CENSORSHIP

Censorship is when people or a person ban or forbid the inappropriate content of things.Censorship affects humanity and it affects plenty of people. It is affected by humanity because it influences the minds of the young and in the minds of people in general to change. I think the producers, editors, and parents decide whether something need to be censored, if it does not. Somethings are better being censored. Some are not. Foe example, music and television. Music should not be censored most of the time because I personally think uncensored music should be only for people that are12years old and older.Well in that case the mature people. Television is definitely better censored because most people watch it and a lot of children love television.

My topic is that somethings should be censored. Somethings are affected by censorship because it has to be censored some of the time to go on the radio, or on television, and on electronics. They have to take out the inappropriate words, segments, phrases, and quotes just to be on the air.

My position is that music should be censored; it relates to my topic because when you are listening to music or you are watching television you should be relaxing not depressed. Music is heard a lot and by a lot of people. Many people love music. Music can help those that are depressed just by being on air. Well sometimes depending on why you are depressed it depends on the type of music that you listen to.

The opposing view believes that people should have the freedom to listen. That means that people should listen to what they want, and when they want. The freedom to say whatever they want, and I think the young children should get heard so I am speaking up for them. Censorship is awesome when you are the one being heard, but it can also be boring. For example, when you are not being heard.

I know everyone wants to be heard, and make a difference to the wrong. So, do something about. Do it. Today. Right now. Okay. I understand you are nervous, but you can not be nervous all the time. Be strong. Make a change. For you. For me. And the whole world too.

Then he graduated from law school three years later. He returned back home and became a lawyer as work. A company in South Africa offered jhim a job.

"Gandhi"

Gandhi was born in 1869 in India and he was apart of a large Hindu family. His family was apart of the merchant caste and his father worked for the govt. He got married when he was 13 yrs old, when he was 19 he went to London to study law. When he got his degree he returned to India and found a job as a lawyer. A company in South Africa offered him a job and he took it but he already had witnessed racism. They tried to make him give up his seat in a 1st class train because he was dark skin; they beaten him. He sent petitions  to South Africa govt for better treatment to Indians.Gandhi left his job to more engaged to what was happening to the people in south Africa, he became their leader. His commitment for social justice was growing stronger and by then he had 4 sons but he withdrew from his family for social justice. Gandhi was very serious about religion, and his belief  in service to others without for his self became a guiding principle. He was satyagraha to the injustice things. Gandhi was arrested for participating in illegal acts satyagraha, he was given a sentence of hard labor. His hard work actually paid off, he went back home in 1914. In 1919, the govt passed laws that talked about harsh punishments for political protests. Gandhi called for people across India to close the business. when the police camed to get Gandhi, rioting broke out and hundreds of Indians died and sent to jail. He fasted to atone for what had happened, he wouldn't eat for 72 hours. This is not all Gandhi did , he did so much more !

Censorship

Censorship means to ban, to forbidden.Music and television is censored because of the things people put on the air and what they put on the screen. I think the moms that are not upbeat or hipped would like the TV, and the music censored. Other people want music and television censored so that their children will  not grow up to be a gang banger, to grow up and WANT to be in the street, or they don't want their children to grow up and be like them other rappers cursing, and having unsafe sex. Censorship has affected me because some of the things that people have censored did not need to be censored. I feel censorship should be illegal because people are going to things other people don't want them to do.

The Giver

The Giver is getting good. I am really loving the book. I thought that the book was going to bo boring but know I see that book covers chould not be judged. The book is begining to become really interesting. Jonas is finally experiencing the way a real reciever is supposed to. L-O-V-E. It.

Sameness

Sameness is when a group of people or of children is treated the sames way as the other. I am affected by sameness because I am treated the same way as everyone else in my school. I think the highest authority controls sameness. I feel that sameness is fair with in certain places. Sameness can help me accomplish my goals because I feel if I am treated the same with others that when I am grown and I have my own career that I know how to be the same, and how to treat children. Sameness hindercan progress because if a person is treated different and they are held back then when they get to experience sameness then they person will just branch off and not listen.

Somebody Wants But So

Somebody wants but so is a strategy that is used to summarize vignette or a paragraph. Somebody: is the noun you want to verify. Wants; is a word that is decribing what the noun wanted to happen. But; is what stopped the noun from diong it's want. So; is the conclusion to what happened.

"The Giver"

The giver is so good, Jonas received his assignment. Jonas assignment was to be the receiver of memory. His rules are pretty harsh because he can and can't do a lot of things. I think his rules are pretty crazy to me because if you used to doing most of that stuff and then you cannot do it anymore, that is hard.

Today

Today's reding was about the choices Jonas made and the actions that were done. We feel that Jonas was probably proud of himself considering the sound of the applaus. We also feel that Jonas is begining to feel more succesful.

Unique B., Makayla A.T., Dezare' T., Ameryst J., and Christian P.

The Giver

This book so far is about a boy. His name is Jonas. I think  Jonas is a person that loves to rule or to be in charge of other people. The Giver is a person that loves to seek out for help, or to give help to others that need it.
